About the Role

The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients for the business and the achievement of the revenue targets for assigned territory. The candidate should have experience in new accounts acquisition or key account management specific to academic institutions for a minimum of 8 year.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for achievement of revenue targets in assigned region(s) through existing and newly acquired clients.
• Research, account mapping, networking and lead generation to support revenue targets.
• Maintain good long-term relationship by keeping a regular touch with all kind of accounts.
• “Relationship Management” (up selling and cross selling) with all new clients to maintain the future association and ensure y-o-y growth.
• Updating sales efforts in CRM for weekly reporting.
• Close coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure clients’ deliverables are met on time.
• Ensure to deliver commitments given to client by keeping close coordination with senior team and project executors.

Minimum Requirement

• 8+ years of experience in EdTech industry, of selling to Higher Ed segment – Universities/ Colleges/ Institutes/ B Schools.
• Experience of acquiring new accounts as well as key accounts management.
• Strong network and connects across decision makers especially in Higher Ed segment.
• Enterprising & aggressive with excellent communication skills and solution-based selling approach.
• Curious and open minded towards co-creating and targeting new sub-markets and use-cases.
• Positive attitude with leadership skills.
• High service ethics and a high level of integrity.
